Sail On

I am so thankful that I made it through 2007 with victory in my soul. As I start 2008 I am glad to still be saved. My desire is to grow spiritually this year. To keep my focus on God and do those things that will be pleasing in his site.

Sometimes we have to "sail on" in the things of God. Christopher Columbus sailed on in his journey. As he made his journey without seeing land, I am sure he grew discouraged. The sailors tried to get him to turn back, but Columbus refused to listen to them. Columbus Sailed on.
We have to "sail on" in our journey with God. The devil will try and get us to turn back. The devil will try and cause us to give up. Sometimes our journey will have hard places. Sometimes the storms will come, but we have to sail on. We have to refuse to listen to the devil. We have to keep our focus on God. We will make it to the other side one day. I want to sail on in the things of God, and make it to heaven one day.
